Absent?
Yes, I have been for some time now. Since November 2010 due to the fact that me and my lovely partner have moved from shitty old Sydney to the country town of Emerald, QLD.
And might I say, what a shock it has been. Its so quiet and more relaved than Sydney. And the weather isn’t completely bad either.
Theres a very short list of things i miss about Sydney:
- My amazing family <3
- The few friends I did have
- The shops!! ( not many here)
- The beach.
Thats honestly about it. Dont miss the crappy transport, loud city noise, stupid hot weather (down there at the moment. )
We only got the net about a week ago and have also got a webcam, so if anyone wants to chat, let me know and I’ll add you to SKPE :)
Also we got this beautiful kitty about 8 days after we got here. She was so small she could fit in the palm on one hand :D Now she is just getting to big and crazy.
Its so weird living out of home, especially 1900km away fropm everyone!
I miss my beautiful little nepwhew aswell. I often think about him and get sad, not seeing him grow up :( BUT I will be back down in Syndey in march for a visit, for about a week. CAN NOT WAIT.
Anywho, got some more cleaning to do bef\ore jason gets home
